Fashion king Giorgio Armani dies
ROME: Fashion designer Giorgio Armani, synonymous with modern Italian style and elegance and known worldwide as “King Giorgio”, died at the age of 91, his company said on Thursday. Armani, who determined the undervalued luxury and helped turn “in Italy” into a worldwide brand of complexity, remembered colleagues, politicians and fans as an image whose influence was well over the runway.
