Menghi, the bassist and the brain of the project, revealed that he started back during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“There is no unique moment that led to this project,” Menghi explained. “It was a trace of events that led to the formation of King Ultramega and the evolving creation to pay tribute to the voice of a generation.”
In addition, Duvall shared because he became part of the project, saying. “The reason for my participation was just an interesting challenge when so much of the world was closed.”
“I had no thought or ambitions for it beyond our posting in social media five years ago, but if this liberation can help in the further good work of Musicares, then I am all about it,” he added.
The series will include songs from Cornell’s career, with choices taken from his work with Soundgarden, Audioslave and his own solo list.
In addition, each track will help increase the fund and failure for Musicares, with future appearances confirmed by artists such as Joe Satriani, Alissa White-Gluz and Kenny Aronoff.
