TPD LEAKS: Jalal Sons & Master Tiles wedding breaks 1 dish law, use power to flout the rules
LAHORE: The extravagant wedding conducted between the elite families of Master Tiles and Jalal & Sons flouted the one dish law in Punjab and used their power and political connections to serve multiple dishes to their rich guests.
According to the leaked menu seen by TPD Investigations Desk, the wedding served Mutton Shahi Qorma, Desi Murgh Pulao, Korean Chicken with Lime, Stir Fried Veg Rice, Batair Masla and Beef Chappali Kabab despite the fact that the Punjab government has only allowed 1 dish to be served at weddings.
Maulana Tariq Jameel, Dr Firdaus Ashiq Awan and Atif Aslam were some of the guests at the star studded wedding hosted by Sheikh Dawood.
Some guests wondered how a sitting government minister Dr Firdaus Ashiq Awan did not object to flouting the rules of the wedding which went beyond the time of 10 PM.
Police and private security protected the parameters of the wedding to prevent any law enforcement agency to uphold the law.
