No change in prices of petroleum products: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Thursday announced to maintain fuel prices for the next fifteen days. The decision was announced by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in a televised address.  Earlier, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) had recommended decrease in petroleum prices. Sources divulged the regulatory body had recommended Rs5-10 decrease in per litre petrol price and Rs10 in diesel price.  Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, however, announced that petrol prices would remain stable.

Govt hikes petrol price by Rs10 per litre

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has increased the price of petrol by Rs10 and the price of kerosene oil by Rs5.78 “in the wake of increase in petroleum prices in the international market and exchange rate variations.” After this increase, the prices of petrol and kerosene oil have respectively risen to Rs282 per litre and Rs186.07 per litre. These fuels were earlier available at Rs272 and Rs180.29 per litre. According to a brief notification issued by the Finance Division in the wee hours of Sunday, the new prices will be effective from April 16 [today].

Petrol price likely to go up by Rs10 to 15/litre from April 16

ISLAMABAD: The petrol price is likely to go up by Rs10 to 15 rupees per litre for the second half of April 2023. However, the cost of the high-speed diesel (HSD) may be raised by only 30 paisa. As per the federal government sources, the ex-depot price of petrol is expected to jump by Rs14.77 per litre, High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs0.30 per litre while kerosene oil by Rs8.96 per litre and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) Rs3.36 per litre for the second fortnight of this month. Petrol price likely to go down from April 1

KARACHI: A suggestion to slightly decrease the price of petroleum products was made on Wednesday. According to the sources, a proposal has been developed to reduce the price of petrol by 4.30 rupees and high-speed diesel by 20 rupees for the upcoming fortnightly. Govt to introduce fuel subsidy of Rs50 per liter for poor

With soaring inflation levels breaking the backs of the masses, the government has decided to introduce a petroleum package of up to Rs50 per liter for the low-income stratum of society. Finance Minister announces 5-rupee cut in petrol price

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday announced a reduction in the price of petrol by Rs5 per litre. Addressing a video message, he said the new price of petrol was now Rs267 per litre from Rs272. He added that the price of high-speed diesel would remain unchanged at Rs280 per litre. “Kerosene oil’s current price of Rs202.73 is being brought to Rs187.73 after a reduction of 15 rupees. Govt increases petrol price by Rs22.20, takes it to Rs272 per litre

The government increased the price of petrol by Rs22.20 per litre, taking it to Rs272 with effect from February 16. It also announced an increase in the prices of high-speed diesel by Rs17.20 per litre, taking it to Rs280. Kerosene oil will now be available at Rs202.73 per litre following an Rs12.90 hike. Petrol, diesel prices may jump over Rs32/litre

Petroleum, oil, and lubricant prices could increase by more than 32 rupees per litre starting from tomorrow (February 16), primarily due to the current US currency exchange rate of 271.82 rupees to one dollar. Cabinet approves restoration of 11 petroleum exploration licenses

Federal Cabinet has approved the restoration of eleven revoked petroleum exploration licenses on the recommendation of the Petroleum Division. Petroleum prices to remain unchanged for the next 15 days

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced on Monday that the price of petroleum products will remain unchanged for the next 15 days, while the deadline to file income tax returns has been extended to November 30.
