Zara Noor has a message for new mothers.

Stand Up Girl Starlet Zara Noor Abbas recently welcomed a new addition to her family, a baby girl named Noor-e-Jahan, with husband Asad Siddiqui. While the joy of welcoming a newborn is often celebrated, Abbas took to Instagram to shed light on the less talked about but equally important phase of motherhood – the postpartum period.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Abbas shared her journey through the ups and downs of life after giving birth, along with a series of touching images that captured precious moments with her daughter. The actor posted a carousel of white booties, a cake decorated in pink babies, plush toys and a wall poster that read ‘Welcome home baby Noor-e-Jahan and mommy’.

Expressing her gratitude for the support from fans, friends and family, the 33-year-old delved into the essence of her postpartum experience, describing it as a transformative journey from “nothing to everything.”

“First and foremost- Thanks to all my friends and family and amazing fans for all the pyaar and duayein (love and prayers). I read all your comments and messages,” Abbas captioned. “It’s just crazy. The journey from nothing to everything. This rush of joy and strength. The feeling that I can conquer everything now. The food of empowerment and love.”

He continued: “The tears, the all-nighters, the difficulties in understanding what the baby wants. What shout will signal me for a specific task/action. How to position the head – how to elongate the body, how to massage the fragile bones from which you can hear the sounds.’

She candidly discussed the challenges of deciphering her newborn’s needs, mastering the art of baby care, and the overwhelming feelings of confusion that often accompany the postpartum period. Abbas stressed the need for new mothers to accept help, prioritize self-care and embrace their achievements without succumbing to the pressure of perfection.

She thought: ‘Questions that will only be answered by spending time alone with the baby. The pressure to learn everything in those 40 days. It’s superior! Is very! And I feel like we don’t talk about the postpartum journey much. After giving birth. It’s real. It’s as real as pregnancy.”

Emphasizing the strength inherent in motherhood, Abbas encouraged other new mothers to recognize their resilience and seek support when needed. She called for conversations around postpartum challenges to be normalized, with the goal of reassuring other mothers that they are not alone in their journey.

The Jum The actor addressed new mothers with a firm reminder to chart their own postpartum journey. “So to all the new moms out there, take a step back from being a super soldier. You became one by giving birth by the grace of God. Now take a step back. Accept the help. Rest of. I eat. Sleep. Nap. You can tell people to let you be. Don’t accept advice you don’t like. Shovel as you like. Nurse or feed – it all depends on you. Do whatever you want,” he advised.

Abbas concluded with the most important thought: “Listen to your body and your instincts as a mother.” Stressing the need to be patient, he said: “This is going to be a long road to recovery, but you will be fine. I promise you. Do you know why? Because you are a mother. And mothers, oh mothers! Don’t we know enough of their power?’
