Xulfi’s note of appreciation for Hassan Raheem

Famous Pakistani singer-songwriter and Coke Studio producer Xulfi recently took to Instagram to express his admiration for his colleague, Hasan Raheem, specifically praising his performance in the new Coke Studio Season 15 song Turri Jandi who sang alongside Shazia Manzoor. In a heartfelt post, Xulfi shared a clip from the music video and paid a touching tribute to Raheem’s unique artistry on the new song, which he co-wrote and produced.

“In the nearly three decades I’ve been creating or performing music, I’ve been blessed with so many wonderful artists. I’m grateful to them for various reasons. To you, I’m grateful for an interesting reason. You sparked a curiosity in me,” Xulfi began, emphasizing special effect that Raheem had on him.

He went on to explain what makes Raheem stand out: “You’re interesting. The way you speak, the way you write, your choice of words, your melodic sense, your expression, it’s such a unique signature. There’s no one like you. sure”.

Xulfi went on to praise Raheem’s contribution to their new song, stating:Turri Jandi it’s one of those stories I’ll never forget we told the world. And this story could not be told without you. Your lyricism, your singing style, your aura and now you’re playing too… It’s heartfelt and soulful.”

Reflecting on a past memory, Xulfi added: “I remember coming across a post a few years ago where you did boxing or a similar sport. I noticed that you had a mustache then. I realized that I suddenly felt that you are not of this era…Somehow you are , but you are also not, some of my curiosity about you was then answered as to why you are so unique.” Concluding his eulogy, Xulfi emphasized the profound impact Raheem had on the world of music: “Today, you have made the world or rather the worlds of yours, and I am ecstatic about it. I will never forget our songwriting sessions. It took us time, but it was worth it.”

Raheem took to the comments section of the post to thank Xulfi for the praise, “Thank you, it means a lot,” he wrote.
