It is steadily becoming one of the most popular offerings on Pakistani television, Ter Bean has achieved unprecedented fame and broken ratings records. In December, excitement was at an all-time high when the team officially announced the much-anticipated Season 2.
Sharing tantalizing pictures of the leads Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi, the anchors brought news of a new saga for the beloved couple Murtasim and Meerab. However, fans’ initial excitement quickly turned to disappointment as they hoped for a teaser or trailer for the new season. But does the disappointment last? Fortunately not, according to the man who runs the show.
“Tere Bin 2 is it very alive; cancellation is a farce,” Abdullah Kadwani said in an interview to DIVA, the distinguished producer from 7th Sky Entertainment. Over the past two weeks, the social media buzz surrounding the hit drama has given way to rumors of a possible cancellation.
Addressing these rumors head on, Kadwani firmly dispelled the cancellation rumours, ending the wave of confusion and worry among Yumhaj’s devoted fans. Directed by Sirajul Haque, Ter Bean had captivated audiences in December of the previous year, and quickly became a sensation across the country.
Despite criticism, Ali’s and Zaidi’s performances as Murtasim and Meerab won widespread acclaim. Kadwani expressed his commitment to deliver new standards of excellence in the upcoming series, acknowledging the unwavering support of fans worldwide.
In a series of photos shared by Kadwani, Zaidi and Ali are seen fraternizing in black, holding the clapperboard. Kadwani captioned the post, “Alhamdulillah, the most awaited announcement of the year is finally here. Your all-time favorite couple, Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali, the one and only #Yumhaj with their unmatched on-screen chemistry, are back with a bang. Tere Bin Season 2.”
