More children in South Asia are struggling due to severe water shortages exacerbated by the effects of climate change than anywhere else in the world, the United Nations said on Monday. “A staggering 347 million children under the age of 18 are exposed to high or extremely high water scarcity in South Asia, the highest number of any region in the world,” the UN children’s agency said in a report. Currently, water shortage is a common issue everywhere in Pakistan. It seems that many areas are suffering from it due to water scarcity. This issue is involving the entire Pakistan quickly. Especially, some areas of Balochistan do not have clean drinking water to Quench their thirst. District Dera Bughti is the place where people died for a drop of water. Using water of running rivers and lacks by the people of said area caused them multiple diseases due to which they have left using it further. That’s why, today they lack enough water which they could use to water themselves.
