PTI announces nationwide protest on Friday

ISLAMABAD: The PTI has announced a nationwide protest on Oct 18 at the district level, urging its supporters to gather in their respective areas. The decision came during a party’s political committee meeting, attended by key leaders. In a statement, the committee expressed its firm resolve to resist the government’s plans to amend the constitution. A call for widespread protests against constitutional amendments and the imprisonment of founding chairman Imran Khan was issued for Friday (tomorrow). PTI announces protests on October 2

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced that the party would hold protests in three major cities of Punjab – Multan, Mianwali, and Faisalabad – on October 2. In a video message, the newly appointed PTI secretary information Sheikh Waqas Akram said that the party will hold mammoth protest rallies in Multan, Faisalabad and Mianwali on Oct 2, while dates for protests in other cities will be announced later.
