Listen to the article The UK Drug Administration and Health Products (MHRA) has issued a notice that urges women who use weight loss drugs such as Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro to use effective contraception after multiple pregnancy reports between users, Guardian reported On June 5, 2025. The notice follows 40 pregnancy reports to women taking these weight loss medicines, prompting MHRA to warn that Mounjaro, in particular, can reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives.
