Noor Alam Khan appointed PAC chairman

ISLAMABAD: Dissident MNA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been appointed new chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in National Assembly. According to the details, PML-N’s Rana Tanvir has resigned as Chairman PAC while Shehbaz Sharif, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Amir Dogar and Riaz Fatyana are also no longer part of the committee. On the other hand, Wajiha Qamar will also be made part of the PAC. It merits mentioning that PML-N MNA from Sheikhupura Rana Tanvir Hussain was appointed as the chairman of the PAC in November 2019 after Shehbaz Sharif resigned from the post earlier that month.

Noor Alam Khan and Mustafa Nawaz assault senior citizen

ISLAMABAD: PTI estranged MNA Noor Alam Khan and PPP senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar were seen assaulting a citizen after he allegedly called the disgruntled PTI lawmaker, a turncoat and abused him in Pashto. According to the details, Noor Alam Khan and Mustafa Nawaz were in a Marriot hotel for iftar when a citizen, allegedly a PTI worker, abused them. The apparently older citizen also called Noor Alam Khan a turncoat (lota) after which things escalated. ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly members Noor Alam Khan and Ahmed Hussain Dehar on Saturday responded to the show cause notice. Noor Alam Khan expresses anger over show-cause notice issued by Pervaiz Khattak

ISLAMABAD: PTI MNA Noor Alam Khan has expressed his anger over-serving of show-cause notice to him by Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak. In a tweet, he said: “I came to know through the media that Pervaiz Khattak has issued a show-cause notice. Firstly, only Prime Minister Imran Khan can issue the show-cause notice to me.” he said. “Secondly, I spoke against the corrupt and injustice load shedding of electricity and Sui gas. I still demand that the names of all people sitting in three front rows should be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL),” he added.
