Mother of one of 28 Gaza babies moved to Egypt recounts her ordeal

CAIRO/GAZA: Born prematurely in Gaza shortly before war broke out, the baby girl was treated at Al Shifa Hospital as she gradually collapsed, separated from her displaced family and then evacuated to Egypt on Monday with her mother and 27 other Palestinian newborns. Mother, son killed in road accident near Sheikhupura

SHEIKHUPURA: A woman and her son were killed and two other children were wounded when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a dumper near Sheikhupura. According to details, the accident occurred in the Farooqabad area near Sheikhupura where a rashly driven dumper hit a motorcycle, killing a woman and her son on the spot and injuring two other children. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.

Mother, daughter killed in road mishap in Karachi

KARACHI: A woman and her daughter were killed and another person was wounded in a road accident in Karachi. According to details, the accident occurred in Firdous Colony area of Landhi in Karachi where a car his a motorcycle, killing a woman and her daughter on the spot while one person sustained injuries. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. Police sources said that driver of the car fled from the scene after the accident.

Pakistani man kills wife, 4-year-old daughter, mother-in-law before killing himself in Texas

TEXAS: A Pakistani man estranged from his wife and 4-year-old daughter appeared to have shot them and his mother-in-law before turning the weapon on himself. According to the details, the preliminary finding was disclosed hours after four bodies were found inside a northwest Harris County apartment unit Thursday morning. Police responded to an apartment complex in Spring around 8 a.m. following reports of gunshots and found four bodies inside with bullet wounds, Harris Police Chief Ed Gonzalez said.
