JI announces nationwide protest on March 21 against Israeli terrorism in Gaza

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has announced a nationwide protest on Friday against American-backed Israeli atrocities in Palestine. He stated that Israel, with U.S. support, committed the worst acts of fascism in Gaza, where 48,000 Palestinians, including a large number of women and children, have been martyred. “Thousands of people are still trapped under the rubble, while the number of injured has reached hundreds of thousands,” he added. “Gaza is facing a severe humanitarian crisis, with extreme shortages of food and medicine.” Hafiz Naeemur Rehman further announced that rallies would be held across all major cities of Pakistan

Pakistan condemns Israeli move to block critical aid for Gaza

Pakistan has strongly condemned the Israeli decision to block critical humanitarian aid from entering Gaza during the Holy month of Ramadan. In a statement, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said this latest action is part of Israel’s systematic campaign to deny much needed humanitarian aid to millions of Palestinians in dire need. He said this constitutes yet another blatant violation of international law by the occupying power, and could imperil the ceasefire agreement. Pakistan calls for viable roadmap to resolve Yemen crisis

At the UN Security Council, Pakistan has called for a viable roadmap to address the political and humanitarian crisis in Yemen. During UN Security Council briefing on Yemen, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Munir Akram said the ongoing conflict in Yemen has emerged as a multidimensional crisis with global implications. He said efforts needed to be accelerated to address the various facets of this crisis through effective diplomacy and a collective response. Munir Akram also appealed to the donor countries to enhance their contributions to the 2025 Humanitarian Response Plan for Yemen.
