CM Punjab Usman Buzdar, who was supervising the rehabilitation operation, directed the administration to expedite the rescue operation. On the other hand, Murree Road was opened up to Nathia Gali.

According to the GDA spokesperson, the roads in Abbottabad which were closed due to snowfall could not be restored even after seven days.

The life system in Malaka Kohsar is slowly being restored. Snow has cleared on the main highways from Lower Topa to Jhikagli Road, Jhikagli to Kaldana Road, Kaldana to Barian and one-way traffic has been restored.
