“We’ve all fallen in love with our lives at some point,” says Jani. His new EP Emotional luggage He walks us through the process.
Carachi rapper Mohammed Ali Khan, commonly known as Jani, has worked with the famous Hip Hop Jokhay producer for Emotional luggage, and currently works on another album due to release in the first half of 2026. The new EP consists of four fresh pieces and characterizes artist Karachi Shareh.
Rejecting the album for The Express TribuneJani said in the song Miracles He wrote to lose himself in love. “… The experience of love without any ego or thinking about self can sometimes be harmful to us.”
This brings to the second step, Two of us, in which Jani causes Seturtworth and Raps to realize his value, despite suffering in the depths of feeling.
In Nazna, It reflects the greatest image, the lessons that love leaves us independently of its end. “Kahin Nazar Nahi Aana Mujhe Ab Tum”, Raps, Nonchally.
The last piece, They collapse, brings the protagonist’s house. Or rather, beyond and beyond, with a deeper understanding of the lover, falling from it, is separate, and yet in love with what it once was. The song beats as a point, as the protagonist has taken a terrible journey and is now grateful for the view from the top. The piece also touches the blessings and limitations of poetic expression.
Jani’s current monthly listeners in Spotify exceed 365,000 and the current number is 73 million. In this album it creates a arc of riveter character, proportional to many, and is well complemented by Jokhay’s Moody and Nocturnal Trap.
The creative universe of the rapper has its roots in the local language and culture of the Karachi road. His music comes to life through the subtle narrative and the visual sense.
Miracles It’s the standout track in this EP. Jokhay gives us a corrugated Jersey Club style that beat with some emotional vocal samples and rolling his hats. “The bar calculating at Jersey Club Beats is slightly different. Flower switches sound very smoothly over the instruments in this style,” says Jani. “The miracles are wonderful. But my personal favorite song at EP would probably be Nazna.”

The rapper’s chemistry with Johkay is undoubtedly in this album. The drums, hi-hats and background melodies often go as Jani’s flow switches. Each instrument appears tailored to the lyrical composition in the file.
‘There were no hip hop producers before [Johkay] He opened the door for everyone in Pakistan, “says Jani.” Umair, SuperDuPersultan, taught all of them how to produce. He is a mentor for everyone in the industry, I have learned a lot of himself. ”
When asked about branching in different genres, styles and other languages, Jani says he is thinking of adding punjabi lyrics to his new album though it is not his first language.
Jani prefers to maintain his creative process as authentic as possible. “Many times, I leave lyrics endless before they go to the studio,” he says. “This helps me keep bars rough, honestly and unspecified. People are more related to it anyway.”
Excessive thinking or spending too much time in an idea can block this, says Jani, insisting that you have to let your creativity, your ideas flow. Maintaining authenticity is vital to both public and artists, he adds.
Recovering his first days on the Karachi music scene, Jani recalled that he had never avoided experimentation. “Back when I first started, people questioned me about the use of Autotune.” Now look around, everyone in Pakistan is using it, “says Jani with pride.
Young artists must be patient and persistent, the rapper said. They have to focus on their craft and build connections instead of hunting monetary success if they want to make their way to today’s music scene, he said.
