PM Shehbaz Sharif arrived in PM Office at 7 am

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif arrived Prime Minister’s House at 7 am.

According to sources, on the first day, the newly elected Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif reached the office at 7 o’clock but the staff of the Prime Minister’s House had not arrived on duty at that time.

Sources said that the office hours have been changed to 8 am on the instructions of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif while Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Sr Tauqeer Shah also took charge of his post.

In addition, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has moved to the Prime Minister’s House with his family.

Earlier, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was given a guard of honour at the Prime Minister’s House as he assumed the responsibilities of the office.

PM Shehbaz reviewed the guard of honour as the contingents of the armed forces presented salute to him.

The prime minister was introduced to the officials and staff of the PM House.

Shehbaz Sharif was sworn-in as the country’s 23rd prime minister a day earlier after he won a no-confidence vote from the National Assembly against his predecessor Imran Khan.
