LAHORE: In connection with the negotiations with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for holding simultaneous elections, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif summoned the allies’ consultative meeting on April 26.
In line with the consultative meeting, the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) secretary’s information went on to say Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had contacted JI emir Sirajul Haq on telephone and felicitated the latter on Eidul Fitr.
In response to which Mr Haq expressed his gratitude to the premier. Both leaders had also underscored the country’s political situation.
“PM Shehbaz has told Sirajul Haq that I am consulting with the allied parties after meeting you. I summoned the consultative meeting of the allied parties on April 26. Sirajul Haq said it is your responsibility as the premier to take the country out of the quagmire,” informed the JI secretary information.
