PM Imran meets members of National and Provincial Assembly of South Punjab

LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday met with the Members of National and Provincial Assemblies from South Punjab.

Federal Minister for Industry Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar and Provincial Finance Minister Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht were present in the meeting.

MNA Farooq Azam, Rana Qasim Noon, Sardar Nasrullah Khan Dreshak, Tahir Iqbal, Abdul Ghaffar Wattoo, Mian Muhammad Shafiq Arain, Sardar Amir Talal Gopang were also present in the meeting.

Member Provincial Assembly Punjab Samiullah Chaudhry, Hasnain Dareshk and Dost Muhammad Mazari also attended the meeting.

The establishment of the Public Welfare, Development projects and South Punjab Secretariat were discussed in the meeting.

During the meeting, the PM was apprised of the problems in his constituency.

The members thanked the Prime Minister for his special interest in South Punjab and for setting priorities for welfare and development projects and said that the people of South Punjab had been neglected in the past.

The Prime Minister said that in the past, South Punjab was lagging in the journey of development due to the unfair distribution of resources. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will take all possible steps for the development of South Punjab.

PTI government is truly implementing the vision of the development and prosperity of South Punjab.

Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that prosperity and economic development in Pakistan can be ensured only through the equal application of the law and equal provision of justice to the people.
