Pakistani celebrities embrace Mother’s Day with heartfelt tributes

As Mother’s Day approaches this year, Pakistani celebrities are taking to social media and sharing heartfelt tributes, showing their appreciation for the influential women in their lives. From actors to models to musicians, the occasion has become a platform to express gratitude, honor and love for maternal resilience.

A trending theme among celebrities’ social media posts is the strength of family ties, with many sharing intimate moments and memories with their mothers. Actress and philanthropist Nadia Jamil wrote a touching letter expressing her admiration for her mother. In her IG post, she shared a video montage of photos with her mommy darling, set to the heartwarming Bollywood tune Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai.

Captioning the post, she reflected on the strength and courage her mother instilled in her. “Happy Mother’s Day to my rock, where my strength began, where my life began,” she happily expressed. “My friend, confidante, the most generous, forgiving, loving woman I know, one of the most, beyond beautiful women to ever walk this planet.”

He continued, “I love you mom. Here’s to healing and learning and unlearning and the adventure of life still left for us to enjoy together. With Aba, Baba Zain, Nana, Nani, Puchi Khala, all watching us. Say a prayer for the health and happiness of my best friend…my mom.”

Meanwhile, music icon Faisal Kapadia took to Instagram to celebrate Mother’s Day with a sweet carousel post. One photo depicts him as a child in his mother’s arms, while another shows his wife Seema, standing next to their two sons, Armaan and Gibran. “Happy Mother’s Day!” Faisal wrote in the caption.

Singer Zoe Viccaji marked the occasion by sharing an adorable picture with her daughter. Amping up the festive note, the duo wore matching butterfly-themed face paint and smiled directly at the camera. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there,” Zoe said in a small note.

Walking into the dedicated Mother’s Day post, Shaniera Akram offered an affectionate snapshot of motherly love across the generations. Posting photos with her husband and former cricketer Waseem Akram and their three children, Shaniera said: “My children are what fill my life. I’m blessed to have those three.”

She added, “Happy Mother’s Day to all moms, stepmoms, grandmas, new moms, mothers-in-law, and those who remain in our hearts.” Whether it’s a comforting hug after a long day or a reassuring word during difficult times, mothers constantly show their selflessness and compassion. So, while Mother’s Day serves as a special occasion to express gratitude, let’s remember to honor and appreciate mothers every day for the invaluable roles they play in our lives.
