Owner of Hilton Nathiagali defaulter of Pak Steel Mills, says Ishaq Khakwani

ISLAMABAD: Ishaq Khan Khakwani, former Minister of State for Information Technology, Telecommunications and Railways has claimed that Mumtaz Muslim, President and owner of the Baron Hotels, is a defaulter of Pakistan Steel Mills.

In a tweet on Monday, Khakwani said: “Mumtaz Muslim, is defaulter of Pak Steel Mills. —says PSM bargaining agent Mumraiz khan. He is the new owner of Hilton Nathiagali- an environment-controversial project, opposed by civil society in Abbottabad.”

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government was striving to establish a rule of law in the country in order to attract foreign investment and promote tourism.

While addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of a five-star hotel, PM said owing to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s efforts for the promotion of tourism, the poverty level has declined fastest among all provinces as has also been recognised by the United Nations.

He said the construction of five-star hotels in Nathiagali would attract more investment and promote high-end tourism and skiing, adding: “Construction of hotels will follow the development of resorts and skiing facilities.”
