NCCIA launches research in Maria B on complaint.

NCCIA launches research in Maria B on complaint.

The NCCIA National Research Service (NCCIA) launched a research on famous fashion designer Maria B, following a complaint that social media positions are equivalent to speech of hatred aimed at the transsexual community.

The complaint, filed by Naeem Butt (also known as SEEMA Butt), claims that Maria B has spread harmful anti-transhoretic rhetoric, emotionally hurting the community. It has been called upon to appear before NCCIA on August 26, with authorities warning that non -compliance will be treated as a loss of its right to defense.

Earlier, Lahore police arrested people with transsexuals over what they described as an “unacceptable” gathering and charged them with clause. The arrests were later rejected by a judge who reported the lack of evidence, no eyewitness testimony, the injustices missing from the raid and resulted in the claims that appeared.

Activist Trans Nayyab Ali responded to the controversy, clarifying that the rally participants did not participate in the Trans Rights Movement, further questioning Maria B’s decision to strengthen the video. Observers warn that vague moral laws can be armed to unjustly target vulnerable communities.

At the same time, Maria B is also facing a legal dispute with the Turkish influenced or model Türkan Atay, who challenged unpaid charges from a campaign earlier this year at Türkiye. Atay has forwarded a legal notice that requires a $ 8,000 payment, as well as compensation for emotional discomfort and legal fees.

Maria B previously withdrawn the public debate in February, when she sharply criticized the “unsuccessful course of women” held on Pakistan’s national day, calling “Qaum-e-Bout March”. He claimed that Pakistani society had already rejected the movement and suggested that its organizers were pushed with external funding and hidden motives.
