Nadia Khan warns women against men who take advantage of heartbreak

Famous actress and TV presenter, Nadia Khan recently did one appearance on Good morning Pakistan with host Nida Yasir and former showbiz colleague Noor Bukhari, where she engaged in a candid discussion about how men take advantage of women suffering from heartbreak.

“When you’re in a stage where you’re losing weight, a lot of people come to you under the guise of offering you support. Many men come to your office, to your family, among your friends and take advantage of the situation,” said Nadia.

“Whenever you’re going through a recent divorce, breakup, or any breakup, resolve to never cry in front of a man,” the actor stated as Nida and Noor nodded in agreement. “You will find in these men a greater serpent than before,” o Laag added the actor.

She urged women not to rush into new relationships after the end of a romantic relationship, warning: “A second heartbreak awaits you the moment you express your regret to a man.”

Although the actress didn’t delve into her personal experiences, she encouraged women to exercise caution, make careful choices and avoid making themselves emotionally vulnerable by looking to another man for comfort after breakups.

“At that moment, you’re so weak and vulnerable and you don’t notice what’s going on,” Nadia said, reflecting on the emotional baggage of a bad breakup.

“Talk to a woman, a friend, your mother, a stranger, but never reveal your concerns to a man,” he insisted, humorously asserting, “The second you tell him and if he doesn’t take advantage of you, I can change my name in Tabassum.”

It is not the first time that Nadia shares her opinion on divorce and its social implications. Earlier in 2023, the actor-turned-presenter commented on rising divorce rates. During a podcast with Hafiz Ahmed, she pointed out how women have more financial independence now, which also helps them become self-sufficient in times of crisis.

After being asked about the main reasons behind divorce in Pakistan, Mr Wehshi The actor said, “I think people are quite unfaithful these days. In the 1990s, if a man had to even approach women, it was a huge inconvenience for him. Like going to women to give personal their number and just hope he calls them back.”

Nadia continued: “Now, there is so much exposure between men and women that husbands don’t pay attention to their wives at home anymore. She always takes care of the children at home and gets stressed with the housework and they find it “boring”.
