Sydney:
Australia has canceled the view of US Kanye West Rapper over its song glorifying Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, the government said on Wednesday.
The 48 -year -old musician, who legally changed his name to YE, released Heil Hitler on May 8, the 80th anniversary of Nazi Germany’s defeat in World War II.
The West – whose wife Bianca Censori is Australian – comes to Australia for some time because she has a family in the country, Interior Minister Tony Burke said.
“He has made many aggressive comments, but my officials looked at it again as soon as the song was released and no longer has a valid visa in Australia.”
Asked if it was viable to prevent such a popular figure, the minister said: “I think what is not viable is to introduce hatred.”
Australian citizens have freedom of speech, Burke added.
“But we have several problems in this country already without intentionally introducing fanaticism.”
Kanye West’s Heil Hitler song recalled the public opposition last week in Slovakia when it was announced that he would play a concert there in July.
More than 3,000 people signed a report against West’s performance in the Slovak capital.
The rapper – a voice supporter of US President Donald Trump – “repeatedly and openly adheres to symbols and ideology associated with the darkest period of modern world history,” two teams said behind the report.
“Kanye West’s concert in our city and our country is an insult to historical memory, a doctrine of war violence and the weakening of all victims of the Nazi regime,” the report said.
In the Heil Hitler clip, dozens of black men-wearing feed and masks, standing in a block formation-the title of the song, as the West comes out to misunderstood for his battle with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
The song ends with a speech extract from the Nazi dictator.
