The favorite site of the Internet and the Internet Instagram site started its own exhibitions. The Rings Awards, announced this week, are aiming to celebrate the creativity of most of the three billion monthly active users. The awards will recognize 25 top users who meet these criteria, according to Hollywood journalist
“We thought it was time to have a prize that recognizes people who get these creative chances on our platform,” says Eva Chen, head of fashion collaborations on Instagram, who was part of the Conceptualization for the Awards program. “These people are cultural catalysts, and they cause conversations, and by doing so, they encourage people to express themselves as well.”
The awards will be a natural ring designed by English fashion designer Grace Wales Bonner, as well as a unique digital gold ring for Instagram profile and stories. The awardees will also have the ability to adapt the color of their Instagram profile background, a skill that will be unique to them. In addition, their content will be presented with their own headlamp and fueled in the application.
The categories for the winners will extend to various issues and categories, from fashion or makeup to sports and entertainment, allowing a wide range of prices in interest groups that reflect the different Instagram community.
The team of judges includes Chen, Wales Bonner and Chief Instagram Adam Mosseri, along with director Spike Lee, Rugby star Ilona Maher, artist Pat McGrath, designer Marc Jacobs, actress Yara Shahidi, artist Kaws, among others.
Speaking about the candidates’ process, Chen said: “Instagram is a community of three billions of people and these three billion people probably reflect a billion different interests, so the criteria were really tough.
The head of fashion collaborations noted that there were too many great people to choose from. However, judges were looking for people who get creative chances, always push the envelope and think about new ways to talk to their audience.
Chen further revealed that the awards have been held for many years. “It is so important now for the creators to sharpen their craft and to supply themselves to this ever -increasing platform,” Chen said. “So I believe that hope is for us to be able to do this for the coming years and every year, just continue to raise Ante in terms of creativity and headlights.”
Looking at the widespread popularity of the awards for popular music, television and movies, it is time for social media creators to receive some recognition for their hard work.
