The Federal Research Service (FIA) has launched an investigation under the prevention of the Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) against model and actress Nadia Hussain after accusing an FIA officer of seeking a bribery on social media.
Sources revealed that the FIA Cyber crime team also carried out a raid on Hussain’s home. FIA officials clarified that the officer was not part of their staff, but rather a scammer, as the fraudster had used the image of a FIA officer’s profile and came into contact with Nadia Hussain, seeking bribery.
The actress was informed that the fraudster, who claimed to be an employee of the FIA, had specifically used a photo of an officer as a view to the social media.
Authorities informed her to report the incident at the Criminal Report Center in cyberspace in Karachi. FIA officials have revealed that the fraudster is from Vehari and will soon be arrested. However, instead of following the guidance, Hussain chose to make a public statement about social media.
The carrying out unfounded categories for social media is considered a criminal act in accordance with the law. In response, the FIA Cyber Crime Wing in Karachi has been officially launched under the PECA law.
FIA officials said no person should be allowed to spread unfounded propaganda without evidence. In addition, they said that Hussain’s allegations not only contradict the events but also tried to harm the reputation of a legal institution, which is a serious offense.
It is important to note that FIA’s corporate crime cycle recently captured former Alfalah Securities Bank Managing Director Atif Mohamad Khan on March 8 compared to a case of embracing RS540 million.
The defendant was found to be involved in financial fraud, abusing his power as CEO. Atif Mohammad Khan is also Hussain’s wife.
