JK Rowling responded to Emma Watson’s recent interview about the podcast “with Jay Shetty”, sharing a parody video of the actor’s observations.
Spoof, created by the comic Intellady, spoke of Watson’s appearance on the show. Rowling repeated the caption clip: “I’m here for all spoofs.”
Watson, known for the Hermione Granger game in Warner Bros. ‘Harry Potter’ films between 2001 and 2011 addressed its public verb with the author for the first time in the interview.
The actor, who has been largely removed from Hollywood in recent years, is reflected in the phenomenon that began in 2020 after Rowling comments on the transsexual community, he pointed out widely criticized.
At that time, Watson joined co-stars such as Daniel Radcliffe in opposing Rowling statements, writing: “People are the ones who say they are and deserve to live their lives without constantly questioning or telling them that they are not.”
In later interviews, Rowling said he would never “forgive” the actors who were publicly disturbed by her. Speaking to Shetty, Watson said she still appreciated her personal relationship with Rowling despite the fact that she disagreed with her views.
“I really don’t think having this experience and keeping the love and support and views I have. It means that I can’t and do not treasure jo and the person with whom I had personal experiences,” he said.
Watson added that the lack of dialogue was the most upset aspect of alienation. “I think the thing I am more upset is that a conversation has never been possible,” he explained.
Asked if he will remain open in such a discussion, Watson said, “Yes, and I will always believe it completely.”
Rowling did not respond immediately to Watson’s comments or opened a chat channel, but he has shared the parody video shortly after the podcast pier.
