Ctrl mission performers are ready to electrify Lahore while raising funds for flood survivors

Karachi:

EVNTM is set to perform a hybrid electronic music event “Mission Ctrl” on the PIA Planetarium on August 30 in Lahore. They plan to give a percentage of profits to the Al Khidmat Flood Campaign for survivors in KP, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

“The Ctrl shipment will be an audiovisual experience like no one else. On the night of the 30th, the planetary dome will flutter with electricity,” said Abdul Rehman who is the CMO in Evntm while talking The Express Tribune.

Khalid is head of the show. The rest of the series has the younger generation of Pakistan’s underground artists. It seeks to create a commercial space for underground artists, while breaking the stigma surrounding electronic music, making it an event that is family -friendly and accessible to everyone. “

Abdul stressed how he would use some of the profits from the event to support the relief efforts for the ongoing monsoon crisis. The number of deaths in KP has passed 400 as a result of floods. According to NDMA, more than 700 people have lost their lives in the monsoon rains since June 26. Al Khidmat conducted 131 rescue operations and saved 910 people in the process. They collect funds to provide assistance, refuge and medical assistance to the victims. EVNTM aims to contribute to this effort through donations, which they will receive from the income they produce from the upcoming event.

The space is an abandoned installation that has now been renovated. It was designed by German architects in the 1980s and fits very well with retro-aeronautics and space aviation that seems to decorate digital teasers at the event.
