Celebrities’ reactions are increasing as the election result is expected

As the voting spell ended and people headed home to fixate on the result, many took to the Internet to share their thoughts. Among these citizens were Pakistani celebrities who, after voting for their favourites, shared their different views on their respective social media platforms.

Singer Farhan Saeed took to X to share a picture of his bruised thumb. Praising the people of his country, he also wrote:Pehle farz tha is baar qarz tha (First, it was a duty, this time it was a debt.) Well done Pakistan for coming out and voting for your right! That command spoke volumes, indeed the best way to speak!” Musician Shehzad Roy also shared a selfie of him and his bruised thumb, saying alongside it:Dara kar nahi, hara kar jeeto (Victory through defeat, not fear)’.

On the other hand, singer Asim Azhar had a lot to say about the whole situation. Taking to X, he wrote: “He has done everything, created all possible obstacles, the network and internet is still not activated in so many areas and more, but still… God is great. What a story, what a struggle. Ya Allah khair.” In another post he also said, “Respect the vote. Respect the public statement. Let the truth prevail. InshaAllah.”

The musician also wrote on X. “My heart is filled with pride as I see so many Pakistanis and the youth coming out in such large numbers even after all the hardships the ‘system’ has put on us. Thank you to each and every Pakistani today from the bottom of my heart who came out and tried to vote during this complicated period and process. No matter what the result is today, we have told everyone that we are awake and we will not let the looters eat our country so easy.we will fight. Hum naye bachay hain, aur kafi dheet hain. (We’re new guys and we’re pretty stubborn).”

Aijaz Aslam and Adnan Siddiqui, after voting, shared Instagram Stories and a post on the photo-sharing app, asking others to exercise their right to vote. Sonya Hussyn also shared a post on Instagram, stating in the caption:Kiyun k, khuda ny bhi us qoam ki haalat nahi badli, na ho jisko yaqeen aap apni halat k badalny ka! (Because even God did not change the condition of such a population that did not believe in change).” Actor Osman Khalid Butt took to X to share ominously, “As you sow, so shall you reap.”

Syeda Tuba Anwar took to her Instagram Story to share a picture of the news, asking her fans and followers if they were as hooked as she was. Fahad Sheikh took to his Instagram Story to joke about how the 2024 election result probably wouldn’t come out in the same year. However, he added, “the people of Pakistan have won today.”

Maya Ali also wrote on her Instagram Stories, “People have proven and shown a great sense of responsibility to come out and vote and choose their leader. Now I pray and hope that this night will pass and the morning will bring us hope .happiness and a big change in our country that we all badly need.” He added, “It’s not about enforcement, it’s not about people, it’s not about punishment. It’s all about the system.”

Fatima Bhutto, however, had the most unique take on the situation. Taking to the site formerly known as Twitter, he wrote: “There is a genocide in the world we live in and it’s very hard for me to express interest in which party made what deal so that their reckless ‘leader’ can get the peak. work. This is a wretched disguise and the world deserves much better than all these men put together. I’ve seen a lot of weird elections, I can’t say I’ve seen a lot of promising ones.”

He further added, “Let’s see what shape the government takes tomorrow, but forgive me for reserving any excitement until it’s all done and dusted. (Even then, my enthusiasm for all the contenders and all the parties could not was lower).

As the final results gradually unfold, it is expected that additional reactions from various individuals will begin to emerge and contribute to the ongoing debate surrounding the result.
