On Monday, Pakistani actress Naeema Butt shared an Instagram story with a famous photo taking her head shaved. The gesture, according to position, was a tribute "The people who died in Pakistan." The original post, shared by an Indian troll reading: "Naeema Butt sacrificing her long hair to support the people who died in Pakistan. PS – can do that for real."
The miming showed an edge with tears in her eyes, holding a piece of her cut hair, while a man used clippers to shave the rest. The picture was particularly gloomy as the actor’s long, elegant hair has been the city’s discussion since playing the delicious Rubab at Hania Aamir and Fahad Mustafa-Starrer Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. In response, Butt added a caption that is directly aimed at the poor effort of humor. Her answer was read: "Wow, look at man. I am pleased to sacrifice anything for my people and my country, Pakistan. But you sacrificed your souls in the dark, hurting innocent lives. Your path is devastating. Mine is for the biggest good."
The story was widely distributed on social media platforms, with users marking butt’s calm but steady tone. In the social media, the followers praised the gesture and response of Butt. A user commented, "Thank you and appreciated you." Another one wrote, "What a slap on their faces!" Many have also appeared to be confused about the image and what could be the purpose of such an act until other users could clarify that they are fake. The depths have become a serious concern in the South Asian entertainment industry, as the manipulated clips of popular drama are widely circulated in social media. In March, actor Faysal Quraishi warned of the videos created by AI that disturb the narrative integrity, confusing the public to constructed scenes. The viral clips that falsely depict the familiar moments between the actors in the Ishq Murshid and Jaan Nisar triggered rage and regulatory control, despite being fake.
