We need to continue talking about Mashal Khan to put an end to blasphemy lynchings (Opinion)
It was 6 years ago when a mob of students and officials lynched to death 24-year-old Mashal Khan on false blasphemy charges. It wasn’t the first time, a false accusation was used to settle a score, and it certainly wouldn’t be the last. Mashal Khan loved books and poetry and had a gentle demeaner. However, being a student of journalism, he was also innately outspoken about issues that needed highlighting. And that is what he had been doing mere hours before he was killed.
