19 October 2021: Dubai has entered into a deal with the Indian government amid rising violence in the Indian Held Kashmir(IHK). The agreement by Dubai, one of the seven emirates of the UAE, marks the first foreign investment in IHK since the Indian government, in 2019, dissolved the disputed state and tri-furcated it into three union territories of Kashmir, Jammu, and Ladakh.
