On 4th June 2025, the entire Pakistan was being rattled by the brutal and unjust murder of Bano Bibi from Balochistan. A video went viral where a man named Ehsan Ullah and a woman, Bano Bibi, were shot dead, reportedly on the obligation of the head of the tribal council. Jirga is an informal assembly of the elders of the tribe which issue the verdict on different matters like marriage, adultery, or family disputes.
