Economic Crisis of Pakistan (Opinion)
Today, the inflation rate in Pakistan has reached thirty per cent annually and if we calculate it weekly, it becomes thirty-three per cent. Our foreign reserves have remained at 3.5 billion dollars which are able to cover three weeks of imports. At present 5800 containers have arrived at our Karachi port and the government does not have the capital to pay for them. These containers have some health equipment and food items which are in high demand in the country but these accessories cannot reach the consumer until government pay for them.
