An open letter to the Pakistani People in the spirit of peace and brotherhood
As I write this letter to you, my Muslim Pakistani cousin, I contemplate the words that will resonate with your worldview and the sentiment that could release tightly held preconceptions. I know some things about your country, about your history, about your people; the proud Pashtun nation, the noble Punjabis, and the rich culture of the Sindhi. I know there are many other ethnic groups within the country and as a Jew, I know that years ago Pakistan possessed a sizable Jewish community in Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar. I hear that many of your peoples have origins shrouded in mystery
