Ali Abbas recently discussed how he dealt with his father and veteran actor Waseem Waseem Abbas, with co-star Saba Hamid. Making an appearance to excuse me with Ahmad Ali Butt, Ali talked about the challenges of his brothers’ care and a sense of anger to his father.
Reflecting on his difficult childhood years, Ali revealed: “When my father got married again, our bond broke. I was about eleven or twelve at that time and I was very upset. “
“Being the older one, I had to take care of two sisters and one brother, I realized that I had to become a parent to my brothers, as my father would no longer invest in us and my mother was going through depression,” he added.
Ali’s father married fellow actor Saba Hamid in 1993. At that time, Saba was already divorced and had two children, Meesha and Faris Shafi. The actor was then worried that this marriage would make him deal with his new family.
Despite the anger he felt, Ali realized that he had to be mature for the situation. “I am the one who always chooses to be part of the solution, not the problem.” He said. “I knew that I had to take care of my brothers, I also developed a rift with my father, but I finally realized that the biggest victim in this situation was my father, who also suffered because of this separation.”
He shared some thoughts on how parents usually have problems. “I have come to see that the men at that time did not share their problems. They were really strong in this way because they didn’t really open. It was difficult for us to understand what they were going through.”
Ali also said: “My father was already married and now.
Everything was not doomed. Ali shared how he started working to repair their relationship: “I read somewhere that if someone passed by something, just let them talk about their problems, you can’t fix them, but they will feel that half of their concerns are only gone by listening to them.
Things are better for both of them now. Ali said, “Since then, I have developed a bond with him.”
