WhatsApp is alleged to be close to starting a refurbished music sharing feature for the status updates, offering users an experience similar to Instagram stories when sharing songs from Spotify.
According to Tech Insiders Wabetainfo and Android Police, up -to -date feature will improve the way music appears in Whatsapp, offering cover album preview, song names and artists and more visually attractive provisions for shared tracks.
“The sharing of WhatsApp’s status updates will create a preview of the song of the song/album, complete with the names of the song and artists,” Android police said. “Similar to sharing on Instagram, users will have four background color adjustment options – sampling from the dominant colors of coverage.
The images sharing Wabetainfo show that the feature closely reflects Instagram music exchange tools, reflecting Meta’s broader thrust to integrate music deeper into its platforms.
Information is in line with Meta’s recent strategy to enhance users’ involvement through music, especially as Tiktok – the dominant player in music discovery and viral trends – faces regulatory uncertainty in the United States.
Meta has already introduced several tools focused on music on Instagram, including profile songs, “Add Yours” music, lyrics and music stickers. Expanding similar tools to WhatsApp is part of the company’s effort to remain competitive.
With WhatsApp being the most popular messaging application-and gaining attraction in the US-the new music sharing feature could help post the interaction and become a platform for musicians and music lovers.
Although the updated WhatsApp Music Sharing option has not yet been officially announced, reports indicate that its launch is imminent.
