British professional boxer Tyson Fury has hit out at Cameroonian professional mixed martial artist Francis Ngannou again, over a “cowardly” claim after he arrived in Saudi Arabia ahead of the latter’s fight with British boxer and two-time former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua on Friday night. .

Fury will watch the upcoming big fight between Ngannou and Joshua from the front row as a special guest tomorrow.

He reportedly exchanged words with Ngannou when they crossed paths at a pre-fight event in the presence of Joshua and Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. Sky Sports mentionted.

The WBC British champion was impressively harassed by Ngannou before claiming a split decision victory as one judge believed Ngannou, who dropped Fury heavily in the third round, had won last year’s fight 95-94 October in Riyadh. .

The confrontation was watched by Joseph Parker’s coach Andy Lee, who told Sky Sports: “Listen, the past is not the past. It’s still very fresh in the mind. That thing on Netflix that came out. The way it was edited, it seems like it was very much Francis’s fight. He got the last word in the documentary.

“I think Tyson felt he had to pull him up – and he did. Fair play to him. “There was no yelling and no roaring. It was just, “Hey, you’re talking about me, saying I’m a coward. Saying you won’t fight us. I won the race!’

“It’s just what fighters do, I guess. They won’t let things go.”

Fury has already promised to see him back in the ring with Ngannou if he can pull off a stunning upset over Joshua.

“He’s a big presence and he’s pretty vocal. He’s going to be there, he’s enjoying the fight,” Lee said, adding, “You want to see the two of them stick together. He told Ngannou last night, ‘Take care of your man and I will take care of my husband and see you again.’

The upcoming match will start at 4 p.m.
