Tom Hardy Confirms ‘Venom 3’ Is Back In Production After SAG-AFTRA Strike

Tom Hardy, the actor who plays his title Poison The franchise recently revealed that the third installment of the film has returned to production after the 118-day SAG-AFTRA strike ends on November 9, 2023.

Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a picture of himself with his stuntman and the film’s director. The Peaky Blinders The alum wrote, “The last dance – thankfully we’re back on set,” adding that he wanted to express his gratitude to all the teams who made it this far.

The actor continued: “Good friends and family – we’ve come a long way – it’s been and continues to be a lot of fun on this journey, there’s always tough turns when we work, but it doesn’t feel so tough when you love what you’re doing and when you know you’ve got great material and the support from all sides, of a great team”.

He said, “surrounded by talented and passionate departments and when you’re surrounded by people you love and care about it doesn’t get any better.”

The 46-year-old actor paid tribute to the entire cast and crew of the film as he wrote: “I want to say very quickly how proud I am of my director, writer and dear friend Kelly Marcel. watching you take the wheel for it fills me with pride, it’s an honor.”

Hardy continued, “Trust, your instincts, your instincts are always right. And I really enjoy working with you and seeing you take on bigger challenges each time. And to my great friend, the plant manager and brother @jaketomuri Jacob still looking Love you all bro. Have a great ride!!!”

Poison 3 was earlier scheduled to release on July 12, 2024, but due to the delay caused by the Hollywood writers and actors’ strikes, the film was pushed back to November 8, 2024.
