Three lions announce full groups for home Odi and T20i row

Three lions announce full groups for home Odi and T20i row

England announced the official group of 16 people for the upcoming ODIS and T20I series at home against the western Indians.

Liam Livingstone has fallen from England’s white ball teams, despite being fully suitable and available for selection. Meanwhile, All-Rounder Liam Dawson has been revoked to T20, signaling his return to international cricket after almost three years.

The Board Cricket of England and Wales (ECB) has released teams on Tuesday, before the ODI and T20 series from May 29th.

Livingstone’s omission comes as a surprise, especially after appearing during last year’s ODI series in the Caribbean. His absence creates eyebrows as he remains active and without injuries.

Dawson, 35, will only appear on T20. The series also marks a new era for England with Harry Brook called Captain in both figures, following Jos Buttler’s decision to leave earlier this year.

Buttler, however, is still included in both teams and face a programming conflict.

The Rescheduled IPL is expected to overlap England’s ODI series, with the Gujarat Titans team for a deep playoff.

The ECB said it would not review objection certificates if the IPL is running more than expected.

The England season, which starts with three ODIS (May 29, June 1, June 3) and three T20 (6, 8, 10, 10).
