The owner of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) Harshit Tomar surprised by presenter Karishma Kotak with a stunning comment during the final presentation, declaring live television, “I will suggest you”.

The video clip of the moment has become a virus since then.

The unexpected exchange took place after the South African champions won a nine Wicket victory over Pakistan’s champions in the WCL 2025 final on August 2 at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Kotak, a former presenter of the Indian Premier League (IPL), asked Tomar how he was planning to celebrate the successful completion of the second season of the tournament. He was caught out of the guard, laughed when Tomar responded with the unexpected comment of the “proposal”.

Ab de Villiers’ amazing blow to the final

The final was no less dramatic. Ab de Villiers returned the years with a sparkling undefeated 120 of 60 balls, guiding South Africa to chase a 196 target at just 17 overs. JP Duminy was backed by a Quickfire 50 that was not outside 28 balls, while Hashim Amla was the only southern African hit.

For Pakistan’s champions, Sharjeel Khan’s 76 balls supplied the team in a competitive 195/5 in their 20s. Hardus Viljoen and Wayne Parnell got two wicked for South Africa.

De Villiers finished the tournament as the top scorer, gathering 431 runs in six appearances in an amazing average of 143.67 and 221.03 strike. His undefeated century in his final won both the match player and the final awards.

Meanwhile, Wayne Parnell and Peter Siddle appeared as the top wicket-takers, supporting 11 wickers each-Parnell in seven races and six in six.
