Karachi:

Informatics seem to be optimistic about increasing exports in various high -potential markets, as the new United States administration (USA) has announced new reciprocal invoices in a huge variety of countries.

Invoices will increase the burden of operating costs for exporters in a large number of countries. However, Trump’s administration has not yet imposed invoices in the service sector, and the technology sector has also escaped the new policy.

Pakistan’s senior vice -president, senior vice -president Muhammad Umir Nizam, said recent escalation in global invoices is causing a significant upgrade of global supply chains. This presents a unique window for Pakistan’s IT industry to proceed as a reliable, competitive and stable external assignment destination.

With the growing demand for undervalued, cost-effective external assignments, Pakistan is extremely positioned-providing up to 70% cost savings compared to western markets, a specialized technological workforce and a vibrant starting ecosystem.

Exports amounted to $ 2.8 billion by March 2025, increasing 23% annually and reflecting the durability and ability of the industry to escalate. The monthly exports in March 2025 amounted to about $ 348 million, continuing a consistent upward trend for the 18th month in a row.

This performance is not a coincidence – it is supported by significant reforms and facilitation measures introduced by the ICT & Telecommunications Ministry (MOITT) and the SIFC Special Council (SIFC). From the extension of the permitted foreign currency conservation limits to accelerate the development of the IT Park and the rationalization of foreign investment policy, these efforts allow Pakistani companies to become world -renowned.

“I believe that the government should announce a special IT package that would allow us to achieve accelerated growth, fully taking this opportunity,” he said.

With targeted brand, trade diplomacy and business convenience reforms, Pakistan can cross $ 5 billion in technology exports over the next 18-24 months.

In this new global reality, Pakistan is not just an alternative – it is the smart choice for world businesses looking for innovation, reliability and value, Umair Nizam said.

Pakistan exports are concentrated in the North American region. It is followed by European countries and the Middle East.

Hexalyze Saad Shah has said that Pakistan is making space on world markets due to the results of the invoices imposed on the countries.

Due to the fact that Pakistan is considered to be one of the best and most affordable countries for the external assignment of IT business, he said.

The joint ventures of various companies from a large number of countries are the other options for acquiring beautiful businesses from a good number of customers.

When it comes to some useful initiatives, there is an urgent need for significant tasks to enhance penetration into some markets to work for marketing and branding in various countries and to build human resource capacity through training and education.

The government and representative bodies must work with different welfare organizations for the preparation of human resources in the required areas.

With three months remaining in the financial year, it is expected that IT exports can be installed in the $ 3.5-3.7 billion area. As part of the Uraan program, the government sets an annual target of $ 10 billion for IT exports until the end of FY29.
