Huynh, who recognizes herself for the first time, having previously been recognized as a victim-3 in his indictment, has written a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian to support the rapper’s guarantee request.
In her letter, Huynh called on the court to allow Combs to “continue to take care of his family and fulfill his responsibilities while still being overseen by the court”.
The letter was submitted to the court on Sunday, August 3, by the COMBS defense team. Huynh also wrote that he does not believe that combs is a danger to the public and that he is a dedicated “family man … who was not violent for many years”.
“I think it is important for the court to have a complete picture of who is beyond the claims,” he added.
“Our relationship, like many, was not always perfect, we experienced ups and downs and mistakes were made, but he was willing to recognize his mistakes and make better decisions in the future,” Huynh continued in the letter.
He stressed that the combs made visible efforts to change, writing: “By the end of our relationship, he incorporated an energy of love, patience and courtesy that was significantly different from his previous behavior.”
Huynh also stressed that this is his “first criminal case” and assured that the Combs would comply with any conditions of liberation, adding that he would not “endanger his freedom or his family’s well -being”.
“Throughout the research and procedures, he has cooperated, respected and complied. He has significant ties with his family and his community, including children dependent on him for emotional and financial support. People Magazine.
Huynh referred several times as a victim-3 in the Federal indictment of the Combs, but never testified in his trial.
Before the combs trial began, prosecutors warned in court that they could no longer locate Victim-3 and said they had lost contact with both herself and her lawyer.
Combs was sentenced on July 2 by two charges of transport to participate in prostitution, but was acquitted of the most serious charges of trafficking in sexual and conspiracy. His lawyers are pushing for his release on a $ 50 million loan before his sentence on October 3.
Huynh’s letter comes as Judge Subramanian denied the release of the musical tycoon with a guarantee, saying that the story of Combs’ domestic violence showed that it could endanger others.
