The constant stress and the nightmares left me exhausted. Please help!

The constant stress and the nightmares left me exhausted. Please help!

Hi Haya,

They are experiencing stress on a regular basis, but something that has recently been worried about is the curious nightmares I have, almost every day.

I am neither addicted to caffeine nor eat a lot of rough food and always try to sleep in time. But this issue of receiving nightmare was so difficult to deal with. I often wake up in the middle of the night every time I go through this experience. It leaves me anxious, panic and low in energy throughout the day, disrupting my sleep program.

Is there any reason why this could happen so often? I am completely ignorant of how to deal with this. Please help!

The constant concern and the nightmares left me exhausted. Please help!

Dear Dimensional Reader Reader,

It sounds like these frequent nightmares are truly tax on your well -being and I can understand why you will feel anxious and drained because of them. While nightmares can sometimes be accidental, their experience almost daily suggests that there may be an underlying cause that needs your attention.

From a psychological point of view, nightmares are often associated with unsolved stress, stress or even subconscious emotions that we have not fully elaborated. Since you are dealing regularly stress, it sounds like your nightmares are a by -product of your anxiety, where your mind can use dreams as a way of working through unpleasant thoughts, suppressing the old experiences or fears that feel overwhelming during of the day.

Stress is a response based on the fear that marks us to something that needs our attention. In your case, it would be useful for you to be curious about what your stress is trying to tell you. Instead of trying to resolve it from a surface level, look inward. There is a connection between your anxiety and your nightmares.

Every time you worry, you work to reflect on your triggers. What does your anxiety activate? What environment are you in? Which people are you around? Do you notice some standards? Are there some thoughts, situations or times of the day when your stress is worse? Are there any concerns you have to face? Which areas of your life, if there are overwhelming? In what areas of your life do you feel lack of alignment? Are there any past wounds or unresolved feelings you have not encountered?

All of this can contribute to your stress and manifest your dreams.

Working in your inner world will help you develop self -awareness and help you understand what is really going on.

In addition, along with the changes in the lifestyle you have already made, I would recommend incorporating some form of movement and a balanced diet to help stabilize your mood. It would also be beneficial to focus on regulating your nervous system through deep breathing and meditation.

And remember, you don’t just have to navigate this. Working with a trained therapist can give you a deeper image in your inner world and support you in building the treatment skills you need to manage your stress and nightmares.

I wish you treatment and recovery!
