Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton as Rice sees red
LONDON: Brighton and Hove Albion ended Arsenal’s winning start to the new Premier League season with a 1-1 draw at the Emirates on Saturday, with the hosts continuing with 10 men after Declan Rice was sent off in the second half. Arsenal dominated the first half and deservedly took the lead at half-time after Kai Havertz finished superbly in the 38th minute, having been brilliantly played in by Bucayo Saka. Four minutes into the second half, however, Arsenal’s task became even more difficult when Rice was sent off following a second yellow card. Brazilian striker Joao Pedro fired Brighton ahead
