Shami hits back at Inzamam’s tampering allegations

Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami has responded to former legendary cricketer and captain Inzamam-ul-Haq’s allegations of ball tampering during a local YouTube podcast interview. During the interview, Shami addressed the legendary Pakistan batsman’s allegations regarding Arshdeep Singh’s alleged ball tampering during the T20 World Cup. Shami said that if he was “coming for the Chapmpion Trophy”, he would take three balls with him and split them in front of “20 people” to prove that there were no “transiters” in them. Pakistan is hosting the Champions Trophy 2025. The Indian cricket team’s participation in the international cricket tournament is not confirmed
