Govt Slashes Petrol by R0.50, diesel from RS5.31 for the next fortnight

HSD was reduced by RS263.95 to Rs258.64. ISLAMABAD: The federal government has reduced the price of petrol by R0.50 per liter for the next fortnight “in view of recent fluctuations in the international oil market”. According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, Petrol will now be available for RS255.63 per liter, from RS256.13. The official notice stated that new fuel prices will be effective from March 1st.
