The upward trend was powered by positive economic signals and the feeling of investors was strengthened. In a landmark achievement, Pakistan saw the highest annual inputs of remittances at home, which crossed $ 38 billion during the financial year 2024-25.

This excellent development is largely attributed to effective policy initiatives and the federal government’s consistent efforts along with the Pakistani state bank (SBP) to promote the use of official remittance channels.

With the improvement of fundamental elements and fiscal stability, the index seems ready to consolidate over the 130,000 sign, he said.
