Singer Jawad Ahmad’s wife’s salon accused of power theft

LAHORE: A beauty salon owned by the wife of renowned singer Jawad Ahmad was allegedly found involved in electricity theft during a routine inspection by a Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) team.

According to reports, the meter at the premises had one of its phases intentionally disabled, effectively reducing the recorded electricity consumption.

The incident took a dramatic turn when Jawad Ahmad himself arrived at the scene in a black vehicle. Eyewitnesses and LESCO officials claim that he confronted the inspection team, assaulted the meter readers, and forcibly took the electricity meter before fleeing the location.
