Simone Biles claps back at Donald Trump’s ‘black jobs’ comment.

Simone Biles, the American athlete famous for her Olympic record achievements, took some time to call out Donald Trump on social media following his controversial comments at a gathering of black journalists earlier this week.

Early Friday, Biles tweeted, “I love my black job” with a black heart emoji, responding to a post of hers proudly displaying her latest Olympic gold medal.

Singer Ricky Davila chimed in, tweeting, “Simone Biles is the GOAT, winning gold medals and dominating gymnastics is her black job,” highlighting Biles’ accomplishments as a perfect rebuttal to Trump’s comments.

That exchange was a sharp response to the former president, who is again the Republican nominee for president.

During an interview at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) conference on Wednesday, Trump claimed that immigrants were “taking black jobs” in the US. When asked to define a “black job,” he vaguely replied, “anyone who has a job.”

His comments, which included many gaffes and insults, left attendees at the Chicago conference and millions watching on television shocked and outraged.

Trump even challenged US Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ identity as a black woman, prompting gasps and jeers from the audience.

Kamala Harris later condemned the comments as divisive, declaring: “America deserves better.” It wasn’t the first time Trump made such comments. During a presidential debate with Joe Biden, he said that immigrants are “taking Black jobs and taking Hispanic jobs.”

In response, Joe Biden addressed the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), saying, “I know what the Black man’s job is: he’s the vice president of the United States,” referring to Kamala Harris.
