Security forces have killed eight Khwarij terrorists during two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Baka Khel area of Bannu District on the reported presence of Khwarij. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location and resultantly killed five militants, while nine Khwarij got injured.
However, during the operation, Sepoy Iftikhar Hussain, having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat.
In another operation conducted in Shagai area of Khyber district, three Khwarij were sent to hell, while two were apprehended by the security forces.
During intense fire exchange, Captain Muhammad Zohaib Ud Din, who was leading his troops from the front, fought bravely, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom.
These Khwarijs were involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
